Steering Committee

In addition to the three directors, a Steering Committee is involved in the orientation and development of the Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion. The Steering Committee includes the VDTR directors, plus the spokesperson of RaT, the (vice) doctoral program directors of the Faculty of Protestant Theology and the Faculty of Catholic Theology, the faculty managers of the Faculty of Protestant Theology and the Faculty of Catholic Theology, the doctoral student representatives of the VDTR, a member of the Equal Opportunities Working Group, and the program managers of the VDTR.

The deans of the faculties involved have an advisory function.

The Steering Committee meets on an ad hoc basis, to discuss current VDTR business. For example, the Steering Committee is involved in the application process for VDTR pre-doctoral positions, supervises the financial and teaching planning, and works on the internationalization of the School.
